What is Anchor Browser?

Anchor Browser is a cloud-hosted browser infrastructure platform, founded in 2024 in Tel Aviv and New York, that lets AI and computer-use agents navigate and act on websites. It runs a stealth Chromium fork built to pass bot detection. On top of that, it adds OmniConnect for site authentication, a Cloudflare Web-Bot-Auth Verified Browser Agent integration, a built-in enterprise VPN, and a Web Action Cache for deterministic replay of agent workflows. It ships as a managed cloud fleet, with a self-hosted "bring your own cloud" option for teams that need to keep the infrastructure in-house.

Our verdict

Anchor Browser fits teams building AI agents that need to authenticate and act on real websites without assembling their own proxy, VPN, and anti-bot stack, since those pieces come bundled in instead of added on separately. It is still an early-stage company (a $6M Seed round closed in October 2025), so its bot-detection resilience rests more on its own claims than on a long independent track record, even with named users like Tavily, LangChain, and Cloudflare.
