What is Linkup?

Linkup is a web search API built for AI applications, with three products: Fetch for single-URL content extraction, Search for sub-second web search with full-text snippets and source citations (available in Fast, Standard, and Deep variants), and Research for asynchronous deep-research queries with 1 to 10 minute latency. It reports a 92% F-score on the Verified SimpleQA benchmark and 99.9% uptime backed by an SLA. It integrates with LangChain, CrewAI, and the OpenAI SDK. Enterprise plans add a private index, Bring Your Own Cloud deployment, and SOC 2 Type II compliance.

Our verdict

The Fetch, Search, and Research split, plus citation-backed results, suits teams building RAG or agent pipelines, and Bring Your Own Cloud with SOC 2 Type II gives it an enterprise option. The 92% SimpleQA F-score is self-reported, though, so it's worth checking against independent benchmarks before you take it at face value.
