What is Massive?
Massive is a web-access infrastructure company that sells residential and ISP proxies alongside three APIs: Web Access API for routing requests through residential devices across 195+ countries, Web Render API for JavaScript rendering into clean HTML or markdown, and Web Search API for geo-targeted SERP results with structured JSON. Massive sources its residential IP pool through an opt-in rewards model: users are compensated via partner apps that embed its SDK, rather than through a traditional datacenter resale model.
Our verdict
The three bundled APIs suit teams that want proxy infrastructure and scraping primitives from one vendor instead of stitching several together. The opt-in residential sourcing model mirrors the approach used by larger incumbents like Bright Data. Several press and investor claims on its homepage, including Microsoft, Nvidia and Mozilla Ventures backing and coverage in TechCrunch, Bloomberg, Wired and Fortune, were not confirmed in this pass. Buyers should check those directly before treating them as settled.

Proxy networks sell access to large pools of IP addresses across residential, datacenter, ISP, and mobile types. They are the layer underneath most large scraping operations, deciding whether a request looks like a real user or a bot. These are the proxy-first vendors serp.fast leaves out and webscrape.dev covers in full.

How Massive compares
Bright DataBright Data is the network against which Massive's opt-in residential sourcing model is explicitly compared, and it sells a similarly broad bundle of residential proxies plus web-unlocking and SERP APIs.
OxylabsOxylabs pairs residential proxies with a SERP API and web scraping APIs, a similar access-plus-extraction bundle to Massive's three APIs.
NimbleNimble combines residential proxy infrastructure with APIs built to feed AI applications structured web data, which matches Massive's stated focus on AI-app customers.
